Verdict

Merdiff, Pertemps Magus and Gaelic Princess are three against the field in division to of this amateur handicap and the vote goes to Merdiff. The selection was a good second behind Russian Symphony last time he remains on the same mark and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Pertemps Magus rates the main danger on her latest second behind Misaro but that was in a seller and her overall form leaves her with a little to find.Gaelic Princess is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she has not won for over a year and looks weighted up to her best. Of the remainder Go Yellow has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price for her in form yard but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Merdiff
