    Verdict

Gold Prospect can land the nightcap, with Scamperdale and Princess Cocoa the others worth a mention. The selection won over this course and distance last time out and although he will need to progress again to score here, he might be capable of doing just that with his confidence boosted by that recent win. Scamperdale is another with course and distance winning form and he is a model of consistency, but he may find one too good off his current mark. Princess Cocoa lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Lucayan Dancer last time and if she can reproduce that run here then she should get competitive. Hoh Wotanite should be sharper for his recent pipe opener at Doncaster so he is not without hope. But we prefer the claims of Gold Prospect who gets the pick.
