    Verdict

Arfinnit can land the opener at the main expense of Kennington and Midnight Sky. The selection won well last time when producing his best performance for some time to beat Willofcourse by a short-head. He does have a penalty for that win but he has a fair draw and he goes well for his young rider and he should make another bold bid to score. Kennington is in good form at present and he ran another solid race at Lingfield last time when third behind Inka Dancer. However, he hasn't won for over a year so the percentage call is to take him on. Midnight Sky is interesting as she is well-bred type who won over 5f at Beverely last time when beating Alto Vertigo. She has a penalty for that win but this extra furlong should suit and her yard are in form so she has to be considered. Mystery Pips has the plum draw and she is a course and distance winner so she could go well at an each-way price, but Arfinnit is in top form and can land the prize.
