    Verdict

LUSCIFER won a shade cosily over track and trip last week and Tony Carroll’s charge can defy a 3lb rise given he scored off a higher mark earlier in the year. Dubai Elegance wasn’t far behind the selection in second and can go well again but Poppy May was well beaten. The British Lion returns to action having gone close at Chelmsford back in March while Josiebond won at Musselburgh last month and is unexposed on the all-weather.
