Verdict

Fivehundredmiles has been raised 5lb for winning at Chelmsford while Parknacilla wasn’t beaten far when only fifth at the same track. But PURPLE PADDY is now back on a winning mark and went close over course and distance a fortnight ago. He looks set to make another bold bid in this and gets the vote. Lafontaine also ran well here before struggling over a shorter trip at Kempton but Atalanta Queen never figured in better company at Windsor though was placed at Southwell before that.
