In depth

Verdict

Peter Bowen has a few fancied runners in action today and Quel Ballistic is certainly one for the short-list here having made all for a clear-cut success at Fontwell. Front-running tactics are likely to be employed again but Towcester scorer Noble Witness also likes to be prominent and they may set the race up for a finisher. Whispering Jack should go well again after holding off Queen Of Mantua at Towcester but TURBO DU RANCH was always going well at Uttoxeter last time and looks capable of further progress. He can defy his penalty with Allerford Jack still paying the price for last season's exploits.
