In depth

Verdict

Beherayn, Chaninbar and Willie Pep look the principals here with Beherayn taken to make up for a mishap last time. The decisive Fakenham winner Chaninbar was found out in handicap grade last time but returns to novice company here and can give a good account. Willie Pep was a sound second a Grade Two hurdle at Ascot in December but hasnt been seen since. He must be a leading contender here but may lack for fitness. After a win from a subsequent winner at Taunton, Beherayn won again at Huntingdon, and was in the process of running his rivals into the ground when running through the wing of the fifth flight at Stratford. Richard Johnson has been reunited with Beherayn this time and the partnership can prove too good for the opposition.
