Verdict

NEWTON GERONIMO was having only his second start of the year when winning over course and distance recently. There should be more to come and he’s taken to confirm running with third-placed Voix D'Eau. This is tougher than the chase The Fresh Prince won at Plumpton in May and Master Burbidge is also upped in class off a higher mark having won at Fontwell in March. The Last But One will need to improve further now 12lb higher than when scoring at Wincanton in April and the remaining pair are harder to fancy.
