Verdict

OSCARSLAD won over 2m6f at Wincanton before finishing fourth over a longer trip at Bangor. He races off the same mark here but this looks a less-competitive contest and Paul Nicholls' six-year-old can pick up the winning thread again. Veteran Ricardo's Chance doesn't stand much racing but was third at Hereford last month and should be thereabouts again while Handsome Harry has claims on the pick of his form. Cadoudalas was second over fences off a 23lb higher mark last month but his hurdles form doesn't bear comparison and a bigger danger is likely to be recent Newton Abbot scorer Terfel's Toscar, who is still at the right end of the handicap.
