Verdict

Can't Buy Time has fallen to a very lenient mark but AP McCoy has chosen to partner Nostringsattached instead, even though his mount has been pulled up three times in a row. Swing Bill is possibly better over shorter trips while No Panic and Fire And Rain have a little to prove at present, though both are weighted to get competitive if back to their best. Wogan isn't getting any younger but should be prominent again, along with Calusa Caldera and recent Wincanton winner Cullahill. Invisible Man would also have claims if his Aintree run was ignored but, in a competitive handicap, the vote goes to COMMEMORATION DAY. Charlie Longsdon's 10-year-old was in good form prior to finding 3m4f too far at Haydock and has gone close off similar marks in the past.
