Ballycash has run poorly in two previous tries over hurdles. Commanding Spirit has a nice pedigree for jumping and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Cobolobo. Monbeg Charmer was thrown in at the deep end on his hurdling debut at Ascot last December but should probably have run better than he did and has a bit to prove now. BOYHOOD beat a subsequent hurdles winner at Musselburgh in February. The bare form is nothing special but he probably has more to offer after just two starts under Rules.
