      Verdict

The champ teams up with Donald McCain to ride IT'S OSCAR and the unexposed Towcester runner-up can go one better in this ordinary event. Catch Tammy has been quite highly tried so far but couldn't take advantage of a drop in grade at Stratford last time and is now blinkered, while Royale Bruere's recent placed form came in point-to-points. The Rockies hinted at ability on his hurdles bow at Ludlow, however, and is preferred to bumper third Enfant Terrible of the others.
