Verdict

QUINSMAN has steadily moved into form over four starts this term culminating in a decisive success over course and distance a week ago for which he totes a 7lb penalty. He doesn't face a straightforward task at the weights but did the job well that day and will enjoy prevailing conditions against rivals with questions to answer. Another Kate will be better for her comeback run but has yet to suggest she's a natural over fences whilst Lisheen Hill is hard to assess, having shown nothing on debut over the larger obstacles on his penultimate run but quite impressive next time up over hurdles. He'll be a threat if able to transfer that latest level back to fences. Mr Valentino is the 'dark horse' as he hasn't been seen for nearly 600 days but showed some chasing promise for Lawney Hill previously. It will be interesting to see if the money comes for him on this first start for Ben Pauling who made a solid start to life in the training ranks last term.
