In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to know what WHITLEY NEILL achieved in winning by 13 lengths at Exeter but that was his hurdling debut so further improvement can be expected. Rebel Royal won in this grade at Kempton last month and his stable continues in fine form. He, too, still has scope but Hidden Impact is proving a disappointment. Earth Leader still had a chance when running out at Newton Abbot but will need to settle better to last home. Victarion has only raced on soft ground so far but looks the pick of the remainder.
