In depth

Verdict

Solstalla was a winner on the level for William Jarvis and could improve on a couple of modest runs in juvenile hurdles now going into handicaps whilst Alottarain hasn't shown a great deal since scoring at Chepstow in March. Ginger Fizz has not found any sparkle so far this season and although course and distance winner, Northern Meeting, would probably win this on the best of her form, recent performances, including on the Flat, have not been up to the expected standard. MAID OF TUSCANY has proved a pretty solid mare over timber, has produced her winning form on good ground and seems more likely to run her race than most. She may receive reward for that consistency in a trappy little finale.
