Verdict

Donald McCain and Brian Hughes have been teaming up to good effect lately and MIDDLEBROW will have benefited from a break since finishing last over hurdles at Perth in July. He’d won earlier over fences at Ffos Las, his fourth success over the larger obstacles. Bangor winner Malangen was still travelling well enough when falling here earlier this month and would be a danger with a clear round. Precious Bounty gets blinkers in attempt to manufacture a first victory while Royal Plaza hinted at a revival at Newton Abbot but is fully exposed.
