A wide open novices chase here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Princesse Grec,Macgyver, Yassar, and Madalyar and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection appeared not to get home over a longer trip last time out. However it is interesting to note that his shrewd connections have continued to persevere with him and with this drop in trip sure to suit he is given one last chance to get his head in front. Princess Grec rates the main danger she won well last time out when defeating Muckle Flugga and although she has a penalty she will not be far away under conditions that suit. Macgyver is another worthy of respect he won well last time out when defeating River Mere but that was over two miles and he is far from certain to see out this trip and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Yassar is another that won well last time out when defeating Plain Chant but he will find this harder under a penalty. Of the remainder Our Man Denis was a fair second behind Chevalier Bayard last time and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Madalyar in the hope that the drop in trip works the oracle.
