      Verdict

      CAPE VICTORY was far too keen at Redcar last month and had nothing more to give when challenged. The drop back in trip may allow him more leeway and he’ll take some stopping if getting a lead. Prairie Spy looks out of sorts but the handicapper is starting to show Kuwait Station some mercy while Akwaan won in a lower grade at Newmarket, though may not be as effective on this quicker surface. You Little Ripper keeps placing but has shown his best form so far on the all-weather.
