    Verdict

A market move for the topweight Roodolph would be of interest following an encouraging return at Bath last month but it is hard to get away from Multicultural, who gets the vote ahead of Barry Island. The last mentioned has shown improved form with each start this term and David Elsworth's gelding has to be considered. Moon Mix ran better here last time but does need to improve again to trouble the judge, while Mick Is Back looks to be going the right way but George Margarson has been short of winners this term so he looks best watched. Multicultural ran an encouraging race on his reappearance at Windsor last month and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice.
