Verdict

Despite a penalty for his course and distance victory on soft ground, Artair looks best of those with experience as he led for a long way in a Listed contest at Sandown later. Camachess has run better than her finishing positions suggest in her two starts over 6f though this can go to the newcomer MOTAGALLY. He only cost 25,000gns as a yearling but must have been mightily impressive in the Tatts Craven Breeze-up as he was bought by Hamdan Al Maktoum for 200,000gns. He's a half-brother to four winning sprinters and could prove quicker at this stage than Deputise, a 110,000gns two-year-old by Kodiak out of a mare who won over 1m4f.
