Verdict

Just right take to the track for this handicap and we side with Mark Johnston's TILOS GEM who is put forward to score at the main expense of Spring Goddess and Marajaa. The selection was a winner over this trip at Bath last time confirming he is fully effective on quick ground and, as a half brother to the stable's classy handicapper Road To Love, it would be no surprise were he to work his way up the ratings. He looks capable of completing the double today but should be given a stiff challenge from Spring Goddess has been victorious over this distance in the past and although running a disappointing race last time over 10f this step back in trip should be beneficial and she should make the money. Marajaa has been running well lately has the ability, but is not at all easy to win with. Of the rest Saltagioo and La Coveta should fare best but will need to show vast improvement if the are to be a cause of concern to our selection Tilos Gem.
