CAPTAIN FLASHEART was in winning form on the all weather at Kempton and is taken to follow up in the opener at the expense of Red Dagger and Cheery Cat. The selection has improved throughout the summer and ran a personal best when upped in trip when winning at Kempton last time out. He is now three pounds higher in the weights as a result of his success but if he can recapture that form he ought to close. Red Dagger caught the eye after finishing third to Bermondsey Bob at Chepstow last time out. That was a personal best effort but more will be required if he is to break his maiden tag this time around. Cheery Cat is the winner of three races but has not threatened the judge for over a year now. His recent form looks moderate and at best he has each way claims. Connections of Captain Flasheart have placed him well and with luck in running he will take all the beating.
