        Verdict

        Sweet Pickle can get back to winning ways at the expense of Flamand, Show Me The Lolly and Pragmatica. An interesting little handicap can see Sweet Pickle atone for her defeat last month at Brighton where she was a bit too keen in her bid to defy a 9lb rise. She was saddled with that burden as a result of returning to Turf after gaining back-to-back victories at Wolverhampton, and seemed to cope with the ground in finishing less than two lengths behind the winner Landucci. Dennis Coakley's filly has never won over a mile, but if Seb Sanders can nurse her until halfway, she should make a bold bid. Flamand would have needed her belated return at Folkestone 12 days ago, and Luca Cumani's inmates do tend to come on for the run, so she should be a threat along with Show Me The Lolly who hung under pressure at Wolverhampton last time and who drops back to a more favourable trip. She should at least turn the table on Pragmatica on these terms, but preference is for Sweet Pickle.
