      Verdict

This will take very little winning and could be too good an opportunity for SQUANDER to pass up. Eyes Like A Hawk and Luc Jordan may provide the dangers. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is, not surprisingly, impeccably bred and is related to numerous winners. She may not be a superstar but won't need to be in order to maintain the family honour and enhance her trainer's impressive strike rate at the track. Luc Jordan started promisingly but is going backwards and needs to improve for the switch to racing on a softer surface. A mark of 79 overestimates his ability on recent evidence. Kessraa is another that appears flattered by her initial rating following a fair showing behind a reluctant winner at Folkestone but she has had just the three starts and could improve. Eyes Like A Hawk appeared to benefit from a tongue strap when showing up quite well at Newbury in a race that hasn't worked out disastrously; she had been very well backed on debut and is of interest but ready preference is for Squander.
