made all, quickened clear approaching final furlong, ran on
held up in touch, ridden 2f out, stayed on same pace inside final furlong
soon with winner til over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
in touch, ridden and outpaced halfway, headway over 1f out, kept on but no chance with winner
soon pushed along, never going pace of leaders
Only Siegfrieds Night of these has raced more than twice so there is not a great deal for backers to go on but it will be a surprise if this does not go to one of the less exposed runners in the field with preference for Wychbury over Tabarka. The last mentioned was outpaced over this trip at Yarmouth on her debut but should have learnt from that effort and is entitled to strip fitter today. A similar comment applies to Mick Channon's Compton's Eleven, who ran with credit on his Windsor debut (Momtic behind and held) and should fair better here. Siegfrieds Night has shown a reasonable level of form but Wychbury may be too good for him. Mark Wallace's colt stepped up on his debut effort over a mile at Newmarket when dropped in distance at Kempton last time. A close third to Moonlight Man there, this looks easier and the son of Swain is taken to open his account.
