Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute's Rich Affair looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to finally open her account and, unless Henry Cecil's newcomer Estimada proves to be out of the ordinary, she can do so with the minimum of fuss. The selection is no world-beater but has shown a decent level of form in the face of some stiff tasks (latterly in the Lancashire Oaks) and should be too good for her rivals today. Estimada is bred to be useful being a daughter of Mark Of Esteem out of a Diesis mare and a move for her in the ring would be of interest. Neither Ashtaroute nor Harbridge make much appeal in a race that should go to Rich Affair.
