    Verdict

BIG BOOM might be worth chancing in an open race. Mick Quinn's five-year-old was well-held here over a mile last time but is better rated on his two six furlong runs previously. He has no issues with the ground and although he only has one win to his name he might add to it here. Mr Skipiton is a course winner and more reliable than many, whilst The Magic Of Rio looks dangerously well-handicapped for a nicely-bred horse. The drop in grade will suit First Blade and Roy Bowring places his horses well, and along with Replicator and Guto he is not easy to discount.
