      Verdict

Craggy Cat is an interesting newcomer representing the yard of Luca Cumani but the testing conditions may not be ideal and a safer option looks to be Artsu, who gets the vote with Harbour Blues rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has the benefit of having raced once previously, running promisingly at Windsor earlier this month, and should not mind the cut in the ground being by soft ground influence Bahamian Bounty. Mick Quinlan saddles two runners with Metal Madness marginally preferred to Black Duke of his pair. The newcomer Vive Les Rouges is far from certain to handle the conditions and of more interest may be another debutant Harbour Blues. Artsu has the more solid claims though and he is preferred.
