        Verdict

        Joint Expectations opened his account when running out an easy winner of a mile seller here last week, staying on well, suggesting that there may be more to come over this longer trip and he gets the vote over Firebird Annie and Flying Grey. The last mentioned drops into this grade for the first time and has to be respected but has yet to prove his effectiveness on ground this soft so may be best watched. Rotation is lightly raced but looks best watched on this surface, while Lawyer To World remains a maiden after 14 career starts and is hard to recommend with that tally. Firebird Annie lost no caste in defeat behind Joint Expectations here last week and has to be respected but the winner that day showed no signs of stopping and is taken to follow up over this longer trip.
