Having won this race last year with a horse ridden by a claimer we will side this time around with Richard Fahey's QUEST FOR SUCCESS. The ground is in his favour, his jockey is a promising young pilot and his recent form with Tangerine Trees looks rock solid; a big run is expected. Also fancied to perform with credit are stablemates Irish Heartbeat, Knot In Wood, Brae Hill and last-year's winner Kaldoun Kingdom, whilst Hawkeyethenoo was impressive when winning here earlier in the year. Tajneed will welcome any further rain but he is more of a Ripon horse, whilst Poet's Place needs to bounce back from his Ayr Cup disappointment, a race that probably came too soon after a Doncaster win. Elsewhere the progressive Colonel Mak, the in-form Masamah and the potentially top-class Gramercy are all worthy of close attention.
