Rough Corte is comfortably the form pick and is likely to start a short price again but she's now been beaten 13 times and been well supported on most occasions. She's overlooked in favour of RANGI CHASE, who hasn't been beaten far in either start and looks ready to gain his first success. Mayfield Boy looked in need of a stiffer track when runner-up at Newcastle so this may not suit and though Bold Captain ran well at Beverley he was a long way behind the winner. This isn't the best of races so don't be surprised by a big run from the newcomer Green Light, a half-brother to five winners.
