Verdict

Jontleman is upped in class in search of a hat-trick after a couple of victories at Lingfield and Penny Garcia makes more appeal on her fourth at Chester where she finished ahead of Lord Ashley. The latter also has a bit to find with Majestic Moon on earlier form while Noble Deed won a classified race at Ponterfact last time but has something to prove over today's extra furlong. George Rooke has solid claims off his current mark but GEORGIAN BAY can land this closing event if running anywhere near the level of his fourth to Professor at Ascot in May. Beaten in a tough handicap at Haydock last time, Elaine Burke's colt gets the nod dropped in class for this.
