Verdict

Kay Two has done little wrong in two starts previously this term and, on ground conditions that suit, he looks worth a wager to gain a deserved success and gets the vote ahead of Terentia and the reappearing Knot In Wood. The last mentioned will be suited by any further softening of the ground and Richard Fahey's gelding has to be respected but he has yet to prove that he is as effective over the minimum trip as six furlongs so may be best watched. The David Nicholls-trained Tournedos ran better last time but faces no easy task in giving weight away all round, while stablemate Fire Up The Band may still be a shade high in the weights. Milton Bradley saddles two runners and both Corridor Creeper and Cape Royal have claims on the pick of their form with marginal preference for the latter of the two. Ed McMahon's Terentia is entitled to come on for her recent reappearance and has to be respected but preference is for Kay Two who has plenty going for him.
