Beckermet was very unlucky at Goodwood last time and is taken to reverse the form with Skywards and Bigalos Bandit, Moscow Music may prove best of the others. In that Molecomb Stakes, Roger Fisher's gelding was awkward out of the stalls, stumbled well over 3 furlong out behind the wall of horses, and then got no run through before staying on in the closing stages. With a clear passage this afternoon he will be very difficult to beat. Skywards was well supported for that contest but weakened inside the final furlong to finish three and a half lengths behind the winner Tournedos, and a length behind Bigalos Bandit. The latter may come out on top again as Skywards may prefer a firmer surface. A danger to all will be Moscow Music who will relish this easier ground and the drop back to five furlongs. Royal Ascot winner Chateau Istana may prove best of the remainder, but after that disastrous run last time, Beckermet deserves to win a decent race.
