In depth

Verdict

Splash The Cash comes here after a fine victory at Hamilton over six furlongs, where he made all and can land back-to-back victories here. Carrying the mandatory 6lb penalty for that victory, that may not be enough to anchor Kevin Ryan's charge. Know No Fear had to fight hard to attain a victory at Catterick last time and this easier five furlongs provides a different test. It appears as if Jaconet is most effective over six furlongs. It will be interesting if she has the pace to lead over this five with Splash The Cash also wanting to dominate. Rio Sands is a consistent sort who is finding it hard to get his head in front and Splash The Cash is the pick.
