Jessica Judd reached a second major championship final of the summer as she finished third in her 800m semi-final in Zurich on Thursday.
The Sky Academy Sports Scholar crossed the line in a time of 2:01.53 behind fellow Brit Lynsey Sharp (2:01.32) and Russia's Yekaterina Poistogova (2:01.45).
With the final not until Saturday afternoon, both Judd and Sharp will be able to enjoy a deserved break from racing, if only for a day, having arrived at the European Championships just a matter of days after contesting the Commonwealth Games final in Glasgow.
While Sharp is aiming for a second medal of the year, having won silver at Hampden Park, Judd can revel in the fact she has made another major championship final with a medal still a possibility despite the injury woes that disrupted her training during the winter.
