Steph Curry avoids suspension ahead of Game 7 of NBA Finals

Steph Curry has avoided suspension and will be able to play in the deciding game of the NBA Finals on Sunday night.
Curry and Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr have each been fined $25,000 (£17,450) for their respective outbursts in Game Six in Cleveland.
Curry was fined for throwing his mouthpiece into the crowd after he fouled out for the first time since 2013 with four minutes still to go in the final quarter at Cleveland.
The NBA's Most Valuable Player gained support from his Kerr, who was also hit with the same fine after he verbally attacked the officials in a post-game rant, labelling the fouls called on Curry as unfair.
"Let me be clear, we did not lose because of the officiating. They totally outplayed us and Cleveland deserved to win," Kerr said. "But three of the six fouls were incredibly inappropriate calls for anybody, much less the MVP of the league."
"As the MVP of the league, we're talking about these touch fouls in the NBA Finals. Everybody's competing out there. There are fouls on every play. It's a physical game.
He added: "If they're going to let Cleveland grab and hold these guys constantly on their cuts and then you're going to call these ticky-tack fouls on the MVP of the league to foul him out, I don't agree with that."
The Warriors slumped to a 115-101 loss on Thursday despite Curry scoring 30 points, as Cleveland levelled the series at 3-3 to set up a decisive final Game Seven in Oakland.
LeBron James added to the Warriors woes with an MVP-like performance as he collected 41 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.
The good news for the Warriors is that Curry will be on the floor for the decider as they look to stop James making history - the Cavaliers are striving to become the first team ever to win an NBA Finals series after falling 3-1 behind.
