Pau Gasol hits career high to lead Chicago to victory over Milwaukee

Pau Gasol's career-best 46 points was the inspiration for Chicago's 95-87 win over Milwaukee in Saturday's NBA action.
Gasol took responsibility in the absence of the NBA's Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose, who missed the game with a knee injury, pulling down 18 rebounds to go with his record haul.
And his efforts were enough to get the Bulls back winning after back-to-back defeats against Utah and Washington.
"It was a good overall night," said Gasol. "You start making the first couple of shots, your teammates start looking for you. I was able to find good spots, get in rhythm.
"Give a lot of credit to my team-mates that made a lot of great plays for me and looked for me a lot of times."
Gasol's heroics papered over the cracks of another lukewarm shooting performance from Chicago, who finished with a collective percentage of 39.8 from the floor.
