James and Wade scored 33 and 32 points respectively, with the former also grabbing 11 rebounds as the Heat drew level at 2-2 in the seven-game series.

Wade had six rebounds, six steals and four assists to bring his side back into a series which will reach Game Five in San Antonio on Sunday.

Chris Bosh also grabbed 20 points and 13 rebounds as the 'Big Three' put together one of their best performances of the play-offs.

"I just came into the game confident. Before I even made a shot, I came into the game confident," James said.

"I knew what my mindset was going to be. I didn't worry about last game. Last game was history. And I just worried in the present. I'm blessed and happy I was able to make a contribution to our win tonight."

Spurs point guard Tony Parker played despite a hamstring strain but failed to score in the second half, ending the contest with 15 points and nine assists.

Tim Duncan top-scored for San Antonio with 20 points, while Danny Green and Gary Neal showcased their three-point shooting skills again, hitting three shots each from beyond the arc.

Parker said: "We have to cut out turnovers. They played great defence tonight. They take a lot of risks. That's Miami's identity. They play very aggressive defence, They gamble and they take a lot of chances, and tonight it worked."

The Heat's win means that the series will definitely head back to Miami where Game Six and, if needed, Game Seven will be held.
