NBA: Luol Deng agrees two-year deal with Miami Heat

Britain's Luol Deng has agreed a two-year deal worth $20million with the Miami Heat.

Deng, who reportedly could opt out after the first season, is expected to join Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade with the Heat as the duo appear set to re-sign for Miami.

Bosh reportedly has a five-year deal worth $118m, while talks are ongoing between the Heat and Wade.

Deng will fill the small forward role vacated by LeBron James, who announced on Friday that he was leaving the Heat after four seasons and two NBA titles and returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the hometown team he spurned in 2010 in search of NBA crowns.

Two-time All-Star Deng, 29, spent his 10 NBA seasons with the Chicago Bulls until being traded to the Cavaliers last January after rejecting the Bulls' offer of $30m over three years.

Deng, who was born in what is now South Sudan, averaged 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season, connecting on 43 percent of his shots from the floor and 30 percent from 3-point range.

He averaged 14.3 points and 5.1 rebounds a game during his time with Cleveland.
