WBA world welterweight champion Keith Thurman will defend his title against Shawn Porter live on Sky Sports in March.
Thurman, known as 'One Time', puts his belt on the line at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut on Saturday, March 12.
Unbeaten Thurman (26-0-KO22) will be making his second defence against Porter (26-1-1-KO16), whose only defeat came when he lost the IBF title to Kell Brook in August 2014.
Thurman has said before he would happily fight Brook in the future but first he is promising to outdo him by beating Porter inside the distance.
Porter's last fight saw him outpoint Adrien Broner, but Thurman believes Broner exposed weaknesses that he can exploit on March 12.
"I see every fight going 12 rounds but as maths was my favourite subject growing up, I love what we call the 'One Time's KO ratio' and it's a beautiful ratio - 26 wins and 22 KOs," he told Sky Sports.
"We plan on hurting Shawn Porter. We will be smart and wise and taking advantage of the chances you get to land the explosive blows.
"Adrien Broner had a nice time hitting Porter but wasn't active enough and Kell Brook was able to land several nice clean punches but he wasn't able to hurt Shawn Porter.
"I believe that Shawn Porter will be be getting hit and he will be getting hurt."
Brook (35-0-KO24), the current IBF welterweight world champion, will no doubt be watching, two weeks before his mandatory defence against Canada's Kevin Bizier (25-2-KO17), also live on Sky Sports, having missed out on a spectacular summer showdown with British rival Amir Khan.
Thurman and Porter's chief support will see featherweight star Abner Mares (28-2-1-KO15) take on the experienced Fernando Montiel (54-5-4-KO39), who lost on points to IBF world featherweight Lee Selby in October.
