Dillian Whyte slams Dave Allen over refusal to face him on July 30

Dillian Whyte has launched another scathing attack on fellow British heavyweight Dave Allen as he continues his search for an opponent on July 30.
'The Bodysnatcher' (17-1-KO14) is yet to confirm his foe for the Leeds bill headlined by Josh Warrington - live on Sky Sports - and recently offered Yorkshire's Allen (9-0-1-KO6) the chance to step up to the plate.
After 'The White Rhino' declined the invitation - citing a lack of preparation time - Whyte told Sky Sports: "I felt sorry for the guy so I offered him the chance to launch his career by getting knocked out by me but the guy is a coward.
"He's been talking for months that he wants to fight me, he's been screaming my name and now the opportunity has come for him to fight me, he doesn't want to take it.
"If he doesn't want to fight me on July 30 then he's never going to get the chance to fight me. The problem with boxing in this country is that nobody wants to fight. Everyone wants to talk up a big fight but then not fight. Allen is a classic example.
"He's been chasing me down and after my fight a couple of weeks ago he said he could beat me here and now, so why's he changing his mind? He said I'd be easy work for him but the guy just talks rubbish.
"Allen has been a pro for four years now and who's he fought? He struggled against Jason Gavern when Gavern was injured. Allen talks and whines so much they should call him 'The White whino.'
"I'm past him already. The only reason the fight was there was because it was an easy British title fight. That's all it was. He was a stepping stone. I offered him a fight with me in Leeds for the WBC International title to get a top 10 ranking in the world and he didn't want it.
"What does he want? The man doesn't want to fight. He'd have been paid the most money he's been paid in his whole career. He could have moved out of his bedsit into a flat, bought some proper food and clothes, maybe buy a little car - but he didn't want to take his opportunity.
"Allen, like most fighters, talks and talks and talks but doesn't want to fight anyone. Everyone is scared. Allen said he's changing his life, conditioning, sports team and trainer. He said he's been getting ready for me for the last three months, so why's he not ready now?
"He's missed his opportunity now and I don't want to hear his name again. He's got a lot of mouth but he won't back his talk up. He's scared and didn't want to take the opportunity to change his life. He's a coward and that's all there is to it."
Whyte underwent shoulder surgery in the wake of December's classic British heavyweight title clash with Anthony Joshua and made his comeback on June 25 with a sixth-round stoppage of Ivica Bacurin.
