Daniel Jacobs vows to silence Sergio Mora with rematch win

Daniel Jacobs has vowed to shut Sergio Mora's trap when they meet in a world title rematch in September.
The American known as 'Miracle Man' will put his WBA World middleweight title on the line in Reading, Pennsylvania, on September 9, against the man he beat in two rounds in August 2015.
But Jacobs (31-1-KO28) wants to do more than just defend his title and has promised to prove he is the true 160lbs champion after Mora (28-4-2-KO9), blamed his defeat on an ankle injury.
It will be the first time the 'Latin Snake' has fought since the pair's explosive first meeting that saw both men hit the canvas in the first round and Mora fracture an ankle.
But knockout specialist Jacobs promises there will be no excuses this time.
"This is business for me, but it is also more personal than any fight I have ever had," he said.
"Sergio has been using these antics online to get this rematch and he has gotten under my skin. There has been a lot of back and forth as far as people's opinions as to who would have won the fight had he not gotten hurt.
"I am looking at this as an opportunity to clarify that I am the real champion. I want to shut his trap in primetime."
Jacobs will be making the third defence of his WBA World title with the experienced Mora trying to be crowned a two-weight world champion again.
The 36-year-old burst on the scene back in 2008 when he beat the late Vernon Forrest to become the WBC super-welterweight title holder.
Mora lost the immediate rematch in Forrest's last fight but this time believes his second meeting with Jacobs will yield a different outcome.
"He knows that I have enough power to hurt him," he said.
"He has more to worry about going into this fight than in the first fight. Look at my resume, I have fought solid opposition. Jacobs doesn't have that type of resume."
