Ryan Burnett will make the first defence of his British bantamweight title against Ryan Farrag, in Liverpool.
The unbeaten Belfast star will be part of a high-quality undercard for Tony Bellew's WBC cruiserwreight battle with BJ Flores at the Echo Arena, on October 15, live on Sky Sports.
Burnett (14-0-KO9) won the vacant belt in November by out-pointing Jason Booth, and has moved up the WBC rankings with back-to-back wins since then.
The 24-year-old has been under the guidance of trainer Adam Booth for the last couple of years, and believes stepping into Farrag's own territory will be a tough test.
"I'm really excited to finally be defending my British title and in a fight that the British fight fans are really going to get behind," said Burnett.
"The build-up is going to be great and I think that someone like Ryan will bring the best out of me and I will perform well against him because he's a very good fighter.
"Fighting in someone else's backyard is one of those bridges that you have to cross at different points in your career. I'm going into the Lion's den and putting my belt on the line. You have to do these things to prove that you are a proper champion."
Former European bantamweight champion, Farrag (15-2-KO4), will be one of several Liverpool fighters in action with Bellew's promise to "shut Flores up" topping the bill.
Heavyweight star David Price will be back in action after fighting on the unforgettable Goodison Park card at the end of May, while popular Sean 'Masher' Dodd will put his WBC International lightweight title on the line against Gary Sykes on another bustling boxing night in Liverpool.
