Frank Buglioni's trainer blames 'ego' of Hosea Burton's coach for preventing British title rematch

Frank Buglioni's trainer has blamed the "ego" of Hosea Burton's coach for preventing a British title rematch.
Buglioni retained his Lonsdale belt with Saturday's points win over Craig Richards, who stepped in as a replacement after mandatory challenger Callum Johnson pulled out due to health issues.
Burton has called for another battle with the British champion after being stopped in their title clash last December, and even offered his services as a late notice opponent.
But Buglioni's trainer Don Charles says the Mancunian could be forced to wait for a second fight due to the opinions of his own coach Joe Gallagher.
Charles told Sky Sports: "According to him and his coach, they were winning every round and beating Frank up. They are hallucinating because that's not how we saw it.
"Frank sustained three different cuts - they are looking at the cuts actually rather than what was going on. That's what's going to beat them, should Frank Buglioni meet Burton again. They are so carried away that they are so superior over Frank Buglioni.
"If he keeps pushing himself to become in contention to fight Buglioni, because his trainer's ego is getting in the way, not the actual fighter I believe. Let them make that mistake and bring themselves into contention to fight.
"I'm not the fighter, I don't get into the ring to fight. Frank wants that fight, but he says he wants to make him become mandatory because he wouldn't let him fight until Frank became mandatory."
But Burton's trainer Joe Gallagher firmly believes that Buglioni has been making excuses to avoid a title defence against 'The Hammer'.
"Frank Buglioni is trying to rob the British title with these touches instead of earn the British title," said Gallagher. "You won it in a good fight, well go and defend it in your mandatory, in another good fight.
"Hosea Burton, you can get in line, but he is in line, and he will be the next kid if Callum Johnson isn't available to fight.
"It speaks volumes. No matter what anyone speaks to Frank about Hosea Burton, Frank comes out with a different reason. Not enough money, he's not ready, he's not got a camp, he needs to get in line.
"Let's give the British public what they want to see."
