Haye vs Bellew: Eddie Hearn eager to separate David Haye and Tony Bellew in Liverpool

David Haye and Tony Bellew may require a “fence” to keep them separated at Monday’s pre-fight press conference, promoter Eddie Hearn has claimed.
Haye was notoriously shielded from Dereck Chisora by a metal fence in 2012 and could be segregated from his upcoming opponent on Monday in Liverpool, Bellew's home city.
"My original plan was to keep them eight-ten feet apart but I'd like them face to face," Hearn exclusively told Sky Sports.
"The only way we can do that is with something separating them. A Perspex wall? If there's any fence suppliers, favourable rates apply, and we'd be very pleased with some assistance.
"But, seriously, both fighters are on a suspended sentence from the British Boxing Board of Control so one issue, and the fight is off. We're not willing to risk that.
"Fighters are different kinds of people. They're not thinking 'if I do something, the fight is off'. It's just reaction that's within them. So we've got to make sure the precautions are in place."
A skirmish at a press conference in November led to Haye and Bellew being reprimanded by the British Boxing Board of Control ahead of next Saturday's fight at The O2 Arena, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
