James Wade begins his pursuit of a maiden World Darts Championship crown on Sunday.

You can catch two sessions of arrows from Alexandra Palace on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Darts from 12.30pm then 7pm.

Three-time semi-finalist Wade is the headline attraction in a tricky encounter with talented prospect Keegan Brown.

Not only is this a hard one to pick, it is an odd one to pick and to anyone thinking of having a bet…don't! Many people will think Keegan has a great shot against James because James is not playing well, but Keegan has not been playing well either. If one of them was to win 3-0 it wouldn't surprise me, but equally if one was to win 3-2 it wouldn't surprise me - absolutely any outcome is possible in this one.

Elsewhere, Australia's Kyle Anderson makes a notable start to his campaign after visa issues scuppered his hopes at Ally Pally last year.

Dave Chisnall, last year's quarter-finalist and the 11th-ranked player in the world, takes on the vastly experienced Vincent van der Voort in another standout encounter.
