Sebastian Vettel says whoever wins the 2012 title will deserve to be Champion

Sebastian Vettel says the driver who 'deserves' the title will be World Champion as he edges closer to a third consecutive drivers' crown.

Despite his tender age, the race at the Circuit of the Americas brings up the 100-GP milestone for Vettel - something that even surprises him. "It's all gone so quickly," he said. "One hundred is a big number - one hundred Grands Prix sounds a lot: one hundred starts, one hundred times surviving the first corner. "If I reflect on it, it doesn't feel so long ago that I broke into Formula One. That shows me that time flies when you do something that you really like and enjoy. So let's focus on the second hundred!"
