Drivers must play it cool in Valencia
Force India chief Vijay Mallya has warned his drivers against over-enthusiasm after it cost them dear in the recent Canadian Grand Prix.
Paul Di Resta, especially, was left bitterly frustrated after incurring another drive-through penalty - following on from one he served in the previous race in Monaco - he criticised as "ridiculous".
Di Resta then still had a shot at finishing in the points late on, only to spin into a wall after running on to a damp part of the track as he attempted to overtake Williams' Rubens Barrichello.
Sutil's race, meanwhile, was virtually identical as he too served a drive-through penalty for causing a collision with Mercedes' Nico Rosberg before spinning out late on and hitting a wall, breaking the left rear suspension.
"It was a weekend of unrealised potential as the luck did not go our way," said Mallya.
"Both drivers were a little over-enthusiastic, but this is all part of racing and we will take the disappointment on the chin and come back stronger next time.
"It was all the more frustrating because the car was extremely competitive, we had a good strategy and we missed a chance to pick up some big points."
