Silverstone put wet-weather plan into place at Woodlands Campsite
An Emergency wet weather plan has been put in place at The Woodlands Campsite at Silverstone as fans arrive ahead of the British Grand Prix.
Further heavy rain is forecast on Thursday night and throughout Friday which could make the ground dangerous underfoot.
Campers are advised to prepare for the conditions before arriving at the circuit and pack plenty of wet weather gear.
Silverstone have also asked that drivers know where the tow points are on their vehicles as it may be necessary to tow them onto their pitch. Once parked vehicles will not be allowed to move - except in an emergency.
